THE CHALLENGE
MPOWERD wanted to develop the first “Smart”, IoT member of their Luci series of market-leading solar powered lamps, and needed a partner they could trust to partner with them in the complex journey of successfully launching a product combining mobile applications, backend services, firmware, manufacturing, EE, and industrial design.
THE WORK
We worked closely with MPOWERD through all phases of the project, continuously coordinating design, development and hardware teams to ensure that a high-quality, secure, and delightful product was delivered on a tight timeline.
THE RESULT
MPOWERD launched their first digital-enabled product exclusively to REI in the fall of 2018, defining the next generation of their offering and enabling numerous additional loT + digital projects for emerging product lines in the near future.
